ISH ran into the lovely Julianne Hough at Beverly Hills Nails this holiday weekend. Like so many other Americans relaxation was the order of the day on Saturday.
So Hough, her mom Mari Anne and sister were taking in a well deserved mani/pedi following their kitchen duties this Thanksgiving.
According to Julianne “I’m best at prep, mom at the actual cooking and my sister (one of three older sisters) is great at presentation.” The Hough clan displayed their Nashville roots with a deep fried turkey, which Julianne said took only 45 minutes and was delicious. She added that Ryan’s dad Gary Lee had the duty of cooking the back-up turkey, just in case. The back-up was barbecued on the grill, which the Hough family had never tasted before, it was smokey and perhaps just a little crispy. So like a lot of things in life the back-up wasn’t necessary! File under “not so Hollywood – more down home!”
